Facilitating Major Healthcare Development with Expert Cladding and Facade Solutions

FacadeX is proud to support the Multiplex team on one of the state’s largest healthcare projects, providing a range of specialized services across the five-building development site.

For the car park building, we constructed a custom perforated façade as a full modular element, seamlessly integrating the crash rail design. The project includes 3,500m² of perforated panels, along with bespoke trims, flashings, and connections.

In the main building, we installed over 10,000m² of aluminium cladding and perforated aluminium panels on fascia, walls, and soffits. Additionally, in the plant rooms, we manufactured and installed more than 5,000m² of performance curtain wall and louvre solutions.

Our work also extended to the courtyard and perimeter, where we delivered canopies, walls, roofing, and custom features using a variety of materials, including aluminium, glass, perforated metal, Colorbond, CFC, and Equitone, helping to realize the architectural vision of the project.

One of our standout contributions was the detailed design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of the Ballarat Road pedestrian link bridge. This complex project involved compound aluminium curves, multifaceted panels, roofing, and perforation on both the inside and outside. The majority of the bridge assembly was completed offsite before being lifted over the road, showcasing the depth of our team’s expertise and capabilities.
