Supporting LXRP with Turnkey Cladding Solutions for South Geelong Station
As part of our ongoing support for the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), Facadex has been engaged to provide turnkey cladding solutions for the South Geelong Station. Our scope of work includes the delivery and installation of cladding across various station components, such as the overpass, stairs, ramps, Parkiteer, plant rooms, lift enclosures, feature columns, canopies, screening, and feature soffits. This work involves a wide range of materials and finishes, each carefully selected to meet the project’s aesthetic and functional requirements.
In addition, we have contributed to the project by installing all windows and doors, ensuring a complete, integrated solution.
Given the nature of this rail project, compliance with strict design, engineering, and installation standards has been essential. The South Geelong Station is a prime example of a complex, multi-material scope, requiring precise coordination and a comprehensive approach to meet all regulatory and project requirements.
